Laure Buhry grew in Seine-Saint-Denis (93 – France). She received the M.S. degree in Mathematics from Bordeaux 1 University in 2006, then she received the M.S. degree in Cognitive Sciences from Bordeaux 2 University in 2007 (she worked on STDP—Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity -- in small biological realistic neural networks).
She is currently PhD student at IMS laboratory in the group « Neuromorphic Ingeneering Systems », her thesis subject focus on extraction of biological neurons models using optimization algorithms.
