Jean TOMAS was born in Perpignan, France in 1963. He received the Engineer Diploma from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique et de Radioélectricité de Bordeaux (ENSERB) in 1985.
He obtained the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bordeaux 1 in 1988.
He joined the University in 1990 where he is an Associate Professor.
His research interests include design of analog and mixed signal circuits dedicated to neuromorphic applications.
