Adel
DAOUZLI was born in Germany, in August 1979.
He studied in France. First, he graduated in Computer Sciences at the
IUT A - University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Then he studied Cognitive Sciences
and obtained a Licence and a Research Master (M.S.) at University Lumière
Lyon 2.
He studied visual anticipation in freestyle snowboarding during his 1st
year of Master.
And during his 2nd year, he worked on a VHDL model of spiking neurons.
He is currently a PhD student in electronics in the group "Neuromorphic
Engineering Systems" at the microelectronics Laboratory IXL of Bordeaux
1 University. His work concerns neural plasticity and learning in a Hodgkin
& Huxley neuron's model implemented on analog VLSI chips.
That work is part of the FACETS's European project of Computational Neurosciences.
He is also impassioned by snowboarding, climbing, african drums, reading
